Race day action trackside at Jerez

Being used to a routine at a race weekend is a necessary part of reporting from the paddock. Everyone in the paddock (photographers, jouranlists, mechanics, riders, hospitality workers…) all work on a schedule defined to the minute but this weekend was a different schedule for me in WSBK and it made for a hectic day at the office! Running from one place to the next and making sure that you were trackside at the right times caused a few moments of panic but with great racing in World Superbikes and Supersport it certainly made up for it!

Sylvain Guintoli led both races but finished second in each after teammate, Marco Melandri, managed his pace better and was able take the lead in the closing stages of both races
