Cortese finds his form at drying Silverstone

With the track dry for the first time today the second Moto3 practice session saw Sandro Cortese set the pace with the championship leader easily fastest ahead of Efren Vazquez and a resurgent Romano Fenati. The German has been in scintillating form of late, claiming six podiums in his last eight starts, and he looks to be eager to add to his victory tally this weekend.

Rookie Alex Rins had another promising session with the Spaniard just half a second off the pace and ahead of Maverick Vinales and Danny Kent.

Louis Rossi consolidated a promising opening practice session by outpacing Luis Salom, Alberto Moncayo and Alex Masbou to round out the top ten.
