As expected Audi claim tenth Sebring 12 Hours success


Tom Kristensen, Allan McNish and Dindo Capello emerged victorious after an exciting Sebring 12 Hours that saw Audi dominate throughout. The German marquee claimed their tenth victory in the most prestigious sportscar race in theUS.

Ultimately consistency was the overriding factor in their victory with the other Audi squads hamstrung by reliability woes. Throughout the race the number three Audi offered a tremendous challenge for the victory but lost too much time in the pits to be able to challenge for the overall victory. The third Audi spent 45 minutes in the pits with a variety of maladies to finish 15th.

The final rostrum spot was taken by the LMP2 class winner, the number 44 HPD. The squad performed exceptionally to finish six laps adrift of the victor but held off the number 055 HPD to claim a famous podium.
